Thanksgiving day is a warmand fuzzy day when we gather with family and/or friends and stuff ourselves silly. We have a great time.
As soon as the last person leaves, real life rears its ugly head again and we lose all the gratitude feelings we managed to muster up all day.
But I’ll bet if you look real hard, you could find at least one thing you’re really grateful for today.
Today I got up. I had forgotten to take the garbage cans out. It was very cold and very windy. My daughter wanted to go shopping, but I have no money to buy her anything for her birthday. I have to work tonight. Not a great day.
But, the sun is shining. Its warm in the house. We have food to eat. And we’re healthy.
I think the fact that we’re healthy probably tops the list. Without that, nothing else matters. The cost of getting sick scares me to death.
You know that I work hard to keep us healthy. Its the number one priority around here. And I am grateful that it seems to be rubbing off on the rest of the family too. I want the people I love to enjoy good health too. Don’t you?
Now, you can have lots of money and poor health. But poor health makes it hard to enjoy life, no matter how much money you have.
We may not have much control in this economy, but your health is one area that you can control.
You can depend on main stream medicine for taking care of your health, but the unfortunate truth is they only take care of the symptoms, not the cause. And as my daughter was ranting about earlier, many times, each drug comes with it’s own side effects that requires the use of another drug. It’s a vicious, very expensive cycle.
You can lose weight and get your health back just by changing the way you eat. And I don’t mean a life of eating a diet of tofu and vegetables.
I know you’ve been dreading the whole healthy eating thing. You can’t just flip a switch and be a healthy eater tomorrow. I don’t know of anyone who has been able to do that – not even me.
When you follow my email course, you’ll make small changes that are easy to live with – and I’ve put together hundreds of great tasting fast and easy recipes that you’re gonna love.
If you’re ready to take a realistic approach to transitioning to a healthier eating lifestyle, you need this. Please don’t be like my family and wait until you have a serious health problem to start changing. Change now and avoid the serious health problems altogether. It’s not as bad as you think – and its so much better to be healthy, no matter how much life sucks otherwise.
