2 cups milk
2 ounces finely chopped white chocolate
1 large egg white
In a heavy medium saucepan, over medium heat, combine milk and white chocolate, stirring frequently until smooth.
Increase the heat to high and bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Remove pan from heat.
In a small bowl, beat the egg white until frothy. Using an electric mixer, gradually beat it into the white chocolate mixture.
Return the mixture to the saucepan over low heat and stir for 1 minute.
Pour an equal amount of the mixture into two mugs and garnish with whipped cream and white chocolate shavings if desired.
