The problem with cutting edge

PADSTOW, UNITED KINGDOM - APRIL 21: Bathers brave the sea as they enjoy the fine weather in Polzeath near Padstow on April 21, 2011 in Cornwall, England. The UK is currently basking in fine weather with the Met Office forecasting record breaking temperatures for the Easter weekend. The fine weather comes as many people are taking advantage of the combination of a late Easter and an additional Bank Holiday for the Royal Wedding, to take extended breaks and holidays. I was so excited at the prospect of being on the cutting edge for a change. After fighting with it for a month now, I’m still excited by the vision – but the reality stinks.

When something is new – it doesn’t always work as expected.

Developers are more interested in coolness than function. “you want it to do what?” Now when you see the new site, tell me you would know to click on the + to login.

Directions? What directions? Oh yeah, we’ll get to that…

I think I’ve had enough pioneering for my lifetime. But I’m too far in to turn back. I’m sort of stuck in the middle waiting for development to catch up to reality.

I guess considering the big picture, I’ve come a long way.

The coolest thing about the technology is that you can now view the site on any device – desktop, ipad, tablet, or phone. The screen adjusts – except for the slideshow for the moment. And let me know what you think.

Let me know if something could be better too.

If you are a Rebel With a Fork subscriber, your account should be activated. Just login. Let me know if you have a problem.

Thanks guys. I’m exhausted and off to get some rest.

I’ve missed you.

I did then again experience several technical issues the use of this web site, as I experienced to reload the website lots of times prior to I may just get it to load correctly. I had been puzzling over in case your web hosting is OK? No longer that I am complaining, but slow loading instances instances will very frequently affect your placement in google and could injury your high-quality ranking if ads and marketing with Adwords. Anyway I’m adding this RSS to my e-mail and could glance out for much more of your respective interesting content. Make sure you update this again soon..
