Another tough day, right? Doesn’t seem like there’s much to be grateful for?
There’s a lot to be grateful for.
I walked in the house and the first words out of my mouth were – Thank God its warm in here! And it struck me –
You are in a house with heat, an oven, blankets, warm water, lights. Imagine for a second what life could be like. You have a lot to be grateful for, right?
If you have warm clothes, a car that runs, good food to eat. You have a lot to be grateful for.
If you have friends and family, you have a lot to be grateful for.
You are reading this because you have a computer or device that allows you to read it. You can communicate, learn, and be entertained. You have a lot to be grateful for.
We take so much for granted.
The other funny thing? When you change your attitude to grateful, your depression lifts. Funny how that works.
I am thankful for that warm bed that I will be snuggling into shortly!
