You would be surprised at how many people have the goal of making 10K a month. And why not? In most areas you can live pretty comfortably on that income.
But not many are achieving it. Why?
Norman Cousins said that anything the mind can conceive and believe, you can achieve.
And there is the problem. You have to believe that you can achieve it.
If you are bringing home $500 a week, do you really believe that you can bring home $2,500. a week, no matter how hard you work? Not likely, right?
The gap between where you are and that Big Goal is just too big. What on earth could you possibly do to make that much money? You sure can’t do it by working more hours. That would be physically impossible.
So, since you really can believe it – you do nothing. Or you might try a few things and fail and give up.
But what if you were to focus on just the next step? If you are bring home $500 a week, can you get to $600 a week?
You’ll find that it is easier to come up with ideas and work harder when the goal is just out of reach, but not too much.
“Just a little more.”
“I think I can!”
Feel the difference in the power?
