I love making Thanksgiving dinner. To me, its just a great big get together without all the pressures. Just come together and eat. And its my daughter’s birthday – so its even more special.

I am grateful for family and friends, and good food, and for all of you who put up with me.

So for me – getting the house in shape and planning and making a great meal are not chores, but labors of love.

I know you may not feel the same way.

With a little planning it is all so much easier. I’ve had one day off in the last 2 weeks, yet I’ve managed to get the bulk of the heavy housework, and probably 1/2 of the shopping done.

Our dinner is traditional. Nothing exotic or complicated. Just good real food. I think people make things way harder than they need to be.

Get the bulk of the work done over the next couple of days so you can actually enjoy the holiday.

I just came up with a new quote –

“Don’t put off til tomorrow what you could have done yesterday.”

If you need help – download my Thanksgiving Planner for free – no strings.

Have a great weekend 🙂
