Planning helps you survive tough weeks

Sorry I haven’t been in touch much this week. Work has been insane. I’ve been working pretty much 8-7 or so. Some others come in at 4 AM! One girl had 77 hours. That is insane.

From what I understand, this week isn’t going to be any better.

So I’ve made spaghetti sauce, stocked up on chicken breasts, and have plenty of salad fixings for fast 10 minute dinners this week.

I have to admit, I underestimated how hard it is to work 60 hrs. a week. I don’t mind whippng up dinner when I work 40 hours, but man – this is tough. I survived on a lot of salad with yummy homegrown tomatoes last week cuz its easy. I don’t know about you, but salad is not enough for me. I need food! I lost more weight last week 🙁

Having your own fast food planned at home will save your health, your waistline, your budget, and your energy levels.

A good meal plan and a good housekeeping plan – and you’ll be able to survive the tough weeks – as long as it doesn’t go on too long. This kind of pressure is not good for anyone.

Oh well, this too shall pass. Have a great week!
