Thanksgiving is coming up fast! But you are prepared!
OK, lets recap what you should have done by the end of next week in order to have a saner Thanksgiving Dinner…
_____ House cleaned
_____ Non-perishables purchased
_____ Extra provisions for guests, just in case, sample size soaps, shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes…
_____ First aid kit
_____ Tums, Pepto, Tylenol…
_____ Extra points for having the good dishes and silverware cleaned. 🙂
_____ Turkey purchased by November 23rd or 24th. I don’t have room in my freezer to buy it before then. You can leave a thawed turkey in the fridge only 1 or 2 days before cooking.
Start thawing in fridge Sunday night or Monday depending on size. 24 lb. turkey takes 3 days to thaw in the fridge.
If you missed the specific details for any of the above, you can find the planners, meal planning and shopping lists in these posts –
Time and money saving tip – you can order all of your non-perishables from Walmart and pick them up for free on orders over $35. Or you can join Walmart+ and have them delivered. I’ve gotten spoiled with this service. That’s why I’m a Walmart Partner.
