OK, we’re moving right along with our spring cleaning.
Look up!
This week we’re going to do ceiling fans, light fixtures, and vents.
I’m actually pretty annoyed. I cleaned the light covers. Now there are 2 of those stupid stink bugs up there again. They didn’t seem to die off this year.
And please make sure to check those ceiling fan blades.
One time I was having coffee at a neighbor’s house. I looked up to see stuff hanging off the ceiling fan. I didn’t mean to embarrass her, but she looked up too. It was cleaned the next time I was there.
Another house had dirt stuck all over the ceiling that the fan had plastered up there.
The furnace has been running for months now Hopefully you’ve been keeping up with changing your filters! If not, do that right now! Not only is it bad for the furnace, it’s spewing dust everywhere!
Check Vent Covers
Dust and clean the vent covers. I use the feather duster on them regularly. If they need more, try the brush attachment on your vacuum.
Now, take the vent cover off and vacuum inside.
Simple enough, right?
Here’s what we’re working on so far –
Task 1 – Pick a room or two and wash the walls. Wash/clean window treatments.
Task 2 – Wash figurines. Clean and polish the tables and shelves before putting things back.
It may not feel like it, but if you’ve one all of these tasks, you have accomplished a lot!
