I’m letting you know about these recalls because these are popular products that many of you use.
Coca Cola
If you live in Illinois or Wisconsin, you should be aware of a Coca Cola recall.
The soda being recalled are 12-count packs of Coca-Cola Original Taste with a UPC of “0 49000-00634 6” on each can and a UPC of “0 49000-02890 4” printed on the packaging. The 12-fluid-ounce cans have an expiration date of September 29, 2025, and were sold at retail locations in Illinois and Wisconsin.
This recall was just upgraded to a Class II recall, meaning that consuming the contaminated drink may lead to minor health problems.2 If you are showing signs of illness or injury after drinking the recalled soda, consult with your health care provider immediately. For more information –
Woolite
The 50-ounce size of Woolite Delicates Detergent, sold on Amazon.com in January 2025, has been recalled due to potential bacteria risk. The “fast-track recall,” issued by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), helps remove potentially hazardous products from the marketplace as quickly as possible.
If you have the affected laundry products, you should tighten the cap and throw it in the garbage. Do not recycle the container or pour the product into the sink or toilet. That’s pretty serious. For more information –
