Process for remodels or flips

I’m assuming you have a plan and a budget. That kinda goes without saying.

1st, apply for permits.

Luci makes a great point – Get a Dumpster!

Structural – Have an engineer check for any structural issues with what you want to do. Do any structural work.

Have the electrical plumbing, and HVAC looked at also. Move, replace, or repair whatever you need to. While you’re at it, make sure you have enough outlets. Rough in outlets, switches, and any boxes you need.

Then, do any work that has to break through an outside wall first. You don’t want to get too far and find out that the new window won’t fit. (Trim comes later…)
