Potatoes are high in potassium and antioxidants. Sweet potatoes are higher in nutrients than white potatoes. But, they are a high carb food. That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy potatoes once in a while. You know, itâ€™s what you put on it that makes it unhealthy.
And remember that your body does require a certain amount of carbs. The more active you are, the more carbs you need. Many people have cut their carbs down too far and end up suffering from chronic fatigue.
