Pomegranates

 

Pomegranates are very high in antioxidants and flavonoids and phytochemicals and potassium. That means they help every function in your body, and help prevent most ‘lifestyle’ diseases, (heart disease, cancer, diabetes) and slow down aging.

Current research has found that an 8 oz. serving of pomegranate juice a day improves blood flow and decreases plaque build up in your arteries.

More studies have been done that show that the high levels of anti-oxidants and flavonoids slow the growth of many cancers – including skin, breast, and prostate.

And this wonder fruit may protect the brains of premature babies, and slow down Alzheimer’s.

You can find pomegranate in everything from ice cream to skin care products. Its the hottest thing since sliced bread!
