Italian Green Beans and Tomatoes

Italian green beans with tomatoes

If you’re looking for something different, and easy, this fits the bill!

1 lb. Fresh green beans trimmed

1 pint cherry tomatoes quartered or grape tomatoes halved, or small tomatoes sliced and halved.

ΒΌ cup Italian dressing

Optional – diced onion

Cook beans in a small amount of water for 10 to 15 minutes, or until crisp-tender.

(put no more than ΒΌ inch of water in the pan.) 

I like to put the onions in the last couple minutes to soften them up a bit.

Drain and pat dry with paper towels.

In a large bowl, toss beans, tomatoes and dressing.

Makes 6-8 servings.
