Eating calcium rich foods from low fat yogurt and low fat cheeses, and vegetables that contain calcium. See calcum in the nutrients listings. Make sure to balance with magnesium.

If you supplement with calcium be careful not to get too much which can cause worse problems and make sure you are taking calcium with magnesium so the calcium ends up in your bones and not in your arteries. .

Eat 6 oz. of lean meat a day. Too little and you don’t get enough protein. Too much and your body draws calcium to clean up the excess.

Get enough exercise. Weight bearing exercise is recommended for building bone strength.
