I used to get monthly migraines when I was in my early 20s. A kindly old pharmacist told me to take 400 iu of vitamin E a day to increase the elasticity of your arteries. I have not had a migraine since. There are other things that are advised, but for me, all I needed was the vitamin E.
Here’e the list –
Take Vitamin E everyday, not just when you get a headache.
Get enough magnesium
Cut out packaged foods
Keep your nutrient levels up by eating every few hours
Drink enough water
Reduce stress. I know â€“ easier said than done.
You would assume that fish oil would also help since it improves both circulation and brain functions. I haven’t read anything conclusive about this at this point.
