Marinated Sirloin

Sirloin can be wonderfully delicious and tender if you marinate it first.
1 lb. Steak
1 small onion, chopped
¼ cup lemon juice
2 Tablespoons olive oil
½ teas. Garlic powder
½ teas. Dried thyme
½ teas. Dried oregano
¼ teas. Celery salt
¼ teas. Black pepper
2-3 lb. Steak
1 medium onion, chopped
½ cup lemon juice
¼ cup olive oil

½ teas. Black pepper
Place marinade ingredients in a glass container or a plastic bag large enough to hold the steak.
Place steak in container or bag and turn a few times to coat well.
Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours, or overnight.
Remove steak from marinade and grill or broil to desired doneness.
Goes great with grilled onions and green peppers.
