L-Arginine is an Amino-acid that increases growth hormone levels, helps lipid oxidization, lowers blood pressure, and decreases arterial plaque.

It helps the body produce nitric oxide which is important for keeping your arteries healthy. Nitric Oxide helps blood flow and oxygen to the heart. But, you can’t take a nitric oxide supplement. Your body makes nitric oxide.

L-Arginine also helps the body remove toxic waste such as bad cholesterol, strengthens the immune system, and helps metabolize fat. Supplementation is used to treat high blood pressure, angina, sexual dysfunction, and infertility.  

The problem is that supplementing with L-arginine has been difficult. You need a steady flow throughout the day. There are now sustained release formulas that work a lot better.
