Either grease grill or grill basket (or use Pam spray for grills.)
You can cook this on an indoor type grill, or a stove-top grill too.
Lightly brush tuna steaks with olive oil or melted butter.
Sprinkle with garlic powder.
Cook covered 2 to 3 minutes per side per ½ inch of thickness.
Turn only once. If you are not using a basket, carefully use a metal spatula to turn the fish. Fish should just start to flake easily. Do not overcook. Fish should still be juicy.
Great topped with your favorite salsa before serving.
Grilled peppers are a nice side dish.
So is a multi-veggie salad.
I like buttered noodles with mine.
Lemon Pilaf would go nicely too with some steamed broccoli…
