Don’t waste this opportunity

spring clean

It’s April. Spring. The season of rebirth. Time to come out from under that rock…

Except we’re under “Shelter at Home” orders.

Kinda puts a damper on things – Or does it?

Whether the virus escaped from a germ warfare lab, or its God’s wrath, or something that mysteriously suddenly came from a bat – the fact is, all the feeling sorry for ourselves, moaning, complaining, and worrying isn’t going to make anything any better. Its time to hunker down, follow the rules, stay safe, and do the best we can.

The good news is, how you spend your time now can improve your life when we do come out of this.

You’ve complained that you don’t have time to clean the house.

You’ve complained that you don’t have time to learn to cook healthier.

You’ve complained that you don’t have time to garden.

You’ve complained that you don’t have time to take a course.

You’ve complained that you don’t have time to spend with your family. Or God.

You’ve complained that you don’t have time to exercise.

And on, and on, and on….

Well, now you do.

We should come out of this thing with a really clean house, eating freshly made real food, a trimmer body, more energy, and more skills.

And I know a lot of people will have a tougher time financially, but you’re also able to save a lot of money. You’re not buying gas, paying tolls, shopping, eating out, or doing anything out for that matter.

If we play our cards right, we’ll come out the other side with a better mindset and good habits that will stick.

This can totally change your life for the better, if you let it.

It might even change the world.

So, this month –

Focus on getting the whole house clean. Every nook and cranny. Then get yourself on the weekly schedule to keep it that way and make your life easier when things do start getting back to normal. The step by step house cleaning course includes the weekly schedule. I will pull it out and put a copy under house cleaning in the next few days.

Try a couple of new recipes every week. You’ll find a few favs that will be go-tos when life gets busy again. The recipes in the club are fast, easy, and better than restaurant quality. You won’t want to eat out!

Find some favorite workouts. There are tons on YouTube. I hear that some trainers are doing Instagram and tic-toc.

Take an online course. There are courses online for practically everything imaginable.

If this goes on long enough, you might even be able to get that garden started and grow your own vegetables!

Don’t waste this opportunity! Hopefully it will never come again.
