Many say to avoid seeded fruits and vegetables or grains that may get stuck in an inflammed polyp.

The number one thing you can do is eat a high fiber diet to keep things moving along – unless you are in a flare up. In that case, you want to go to the opposite extreme and give your system a rest for a few days.

Eat things like –

apples, berries, grapefruit, mangoes, nectarines, oranges, peaches, dried fruits, asparagus, bean sprouts, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, nuts.

Avoid high fat and too much red meat.

Strongly consider having the problem polyps removed. They can turn into cancer if left untreated. Not to mention that constant flare ups are no fun.
