Product Recalls

Lettuce Update – Most of the recalled products are not consumer-facing and were distributed through food service channels, not in retail locations. However, two Walmart retail products have been recalled:

  • Marketside Iceberg Salad 12-ounce or 24-ounce sold at Walmart with โ€œBest if Used Byโ€ dates between July 18, 2026 and Aug. 3, 2026. ย 
  • Marketside Shredded Lettuce 8-ounce or 16-ounce sold at Walmart with โ€œBest if Used Byโ€ dates between July 18, 2026 and Aug. 3, 2026.

According to Walmart, the Marketside products were sold in select Walmart stores in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia. PT Organics Limited Recalls Select Pumpkin Tree Peter Rabbit Organics Banana & Strawberry Fruit Puree Pouches Due to the Potential for Soft Plastic to Enter the Finished Product

, PT Organics Limited of Lake Oswego, Oregon is voluntarily recalling select Pumpkin Tree Peter Rabbit Organics Banana & Strawberry 4 oz. (113 g) pouches because of an internal packaging defect that may result in the presence of a strand of soft, food-grade plastic in the finished product.

The recalled product was sold exclusively through Kroger, Meijer, and Target retail stores nationwide between 03/06/2026 and 07/13/2026.


The FDA just announced a major egg recall impacting nearly 1.6 million dozen eggs sold at several retailers
(including Kroger and Brookshireโ€™s) that may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. They were sold between June 6, 2026, and July 3, 2026, in the following states: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Mississippi. They were distributed to Kroger stores, Brookshire Grocery stores, small retail stores, and foodservice companies.


Fayus Inc., dba Yusol International Foods Expands Recall of OLA-OLA POUNDED YAM Due to Undeclared Milk Allergen


Fayus Inc., doing business as Yusol International Foods (Sacramento, CA) is expanding its recall of OLA-OLA POUNDED YAM to include product sizes 2lbs, 4lbs, 5lbs, and 10lbs due to product labeling omission of an undeclared milk allergen for sodium caseinate, a milk derivative. People who have an allergy, or severe milk sensitivity to milk, run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. No illness or injuries have been reported in connection with this issue.



Fresh & Ready Foods LLC Recalls Spicy Breakfast Burrito due to Undeclared Soy


Charlotte, N.C. – Fresh & Ready Foods LLC is recalling a limited number of Sprig & Sprout Spicy Breakfast Burrito and Fresh and Ready Spicy Breakfast Burrito because they may contain undeclared soy. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. Consumers who do not consume meat should also not consume these products, as the recall was initiated after sausage was found in products labeled vegetarian. Read More –

Relay Peak Research LLC Recalls Zen Principleยฎ Moringa Capsules Because of Possible Health Risk


Relay Peak Research LLC (Zen Principle Naturals) of Incline Village, NV is voluntarily recalling its Zen Principleยฎ brand Moringa Capsules dietary supplement because the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.


Conair is recalling its Cuisinart Propel+ Four Burner 3-In-1 Gas Grills due to the risk of serious injury, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The recall is for the stainless steel Cuisinart Propel+ Four Burner 3-In-1 Gas Grill featuring a griddle, a stovetop burner, and a pizza oven with a tempered glass top located on the grillโ€™s lid. The tempered glass window in the pizza oven can shatter during use, posing a risk of serious injury from lacerations. Read More –
