Wholesale Produce Supply of Minneapolis, Minnesota is recalling fresh cut/processed cantaloupe, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Eggs are once again under recall, as the FDA announced that Black Sheep Eggs tested positive for salmonella, a potentially dangerous bacteria. The impacted eggs, which were sold in 12-count and 18-count packages, have best by dates between 8/22/2025 and 10/31/2025, and UPC codes 860010568507 and 860010568538. Read More –


State Fair corn dogs and Jimmy Dean’s sausage on a stick. Consumers in possession of the now recalled “State Fair Corn Dogs on a Stick” and “Jimmy Dean Pancakes & Sausage on a Stick” are urged to throw them away or return them to their place of purchase. You can find the extensive list of products online by the FSIS and Tyson. The products being recalled should also have an establishment number of “EST-582” or “P-894” printed on the packaging.


The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued an alert late last week about two products with specific use-by dates in late September and early October: Marketside Linguine With Beef Meatballs & Marinara Sauce, sold at Walmart, and Trader Joe’s Cajun Style Blackened Chicken Breast Fettuccine Alfredo.

The USDA says the pasta in those products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes that appears to be genetically related to a deadly listeria outbreak that has already spread to 15 states: California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and Virginia. Georgia Nut Company (GNC), Third-Party Manufacturer for Tru Fru, LLC Issues Voluntary Recall of Specific Varieties of Tru Fru Freeze Dried Products Due to Potential Presence of Metal in Product



SALT LAKE CITY, UT, September 26, 2025
 – Today, Tru Fru, LLC announced that its third-party manufacturer, Georgia Nut Company (GNC) issued a voluntary recall of specific varieties of Tru Fru Freeze Dried products due to the potential presence of metal in the product. Hard or sharp foreign objects in food may cause traumatic injury including laceration and perforation of tissues of the mouth, tongue, throat, stomach and intestine as well as damage to the teeth and gums.

These products were distributed in the United States. Consumers may have purchased impacted product via retail stores and online retail, including but not limited to: Albertson’s, CVS, Food Lion, H-E-B, Hungryroot, Ingles Markets, Kroger, Stew Leonard’s, and Target.

The products subject to this U.S. recall include Tru Fru Freeze Dried Strawberries in Dark & White Chocolate and Tru Fru Freeze Dried Strawberries & Crème listed in the shown tables.

There have been no reported cases of injury or illness to date.

FSIS Issues Public Health Alert For Ready-To-Eat Meals Containing Pasta That May Be Contaminated with Listeria

WASHINGTON, September 25, 2025 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert for ready-to-eat meals containing a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulated pre-cooked pasta that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes (Lm). FSIS expects more updates as this investigation continues. As more information becomes available, FSIS will update this public health alert. Consumers should check back frequently.

Drinkmate carbonation bottles

A recall was just announced on approximately 111,200 Drinkmate carbonation bottles, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).1 This is following multiple reports of the bottles “exploding” during use.

The Drinkmate 1-liter Carbonation Bottles were sold online throughout the U.S. and Canada through Amazon, Home Depot, Target, Walmart and the company’s website. The affected bottles were sold from April 2023 through October 2024 for about $20 individually or $130 as part of Drinkmate OmniFizz starter kits. The recalled bottles have printed expiration dates between 01/2026 and 10/2026. Read More –


Sunbeam is recalling 1.3 million Oster French Door Countertop Ovens. The oven doors can close unexpectedly and hit your arm—which has resulted in 95 burn injuries so far, including two cases of second-degree burns that required medical attention.

The recall affects several models, which all have French-style doors, but different cooking options and control styles. Read More


Cognito Motorsports (Cognito) is recalling certain Rev C Ball Joints with part number 91253, for installation on 2011-2025 GMC and Chevrolet 2500HD and 3500HD trucks. The ball stud may pull through the housing, causing the upper control arm to disengage.

Remedy

Owners are advised not to drive their trucks until the repair has been completed. Cognito will inspect and repair or replace the ball joints, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 27, 2025. Owners may contact Cognito customer service at 1-804-256-7882.


Evenflo Company, Inc. (Evenflo) is recalling certain Gold Revolve360 Slim and Revolve360 Slim child seats manufactured between December 1, 2022 and December 8, 2024. Please refer to Evenflo’s recall report for specific model and color information. The headrest foam is not adequately secured away from the child, which can allow the child to pick off pieces of foam.

Remedy

Evenflo will mail owners additional tape seal and installation instructions, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 31, 2025. Owners may contact Evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5921.
