An old southern favorite! We called them fried apples when I was growing up.
Core and slice apples
Melt 2-3 tablespoons butter in a large frying pan.
Place apple slices in pan. Should be enough to fill pan.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Stir gently to mix completely.
Cook over medium heat until apples are soft.
Serve immediately.
