This is the time of year where we tend to cuddle up on the couch with our soft throw, a bowl of popcorn, some hot chocolate, and Netflix. And that’s OK for a couple weeks.
But January is more than half over. Maybe its time to start putting life back together?
I don’t know about you, but I have piles of things “I will get to later…”
Bills to pay, things to read, car emissions test, license to renew, pile of filing, and, and, and…
Hey, at least the the kitchen and bath are clean. Hooray me!
What about you? Do you have a bunch of stuff that needs to be done?
I’ve started tackling it by finishing a couple things each day. It feels good. Some progress is better than none, right?
You know, those things that we have hanging over us affect our mental well-being. No matter how hard we try to ignore them, they eat away at us.
So, go ahead – start taking care of those pesky things.
Don’t look at the whole pile. Put 2 or 3 things aside that you will take care of today, and just work your way through.
Start with things that you look at every day that are really annoying you.
It also helps if you eat healthy and get some movement in every day.
We are going to feel so much better!
Then it will be time to start working on our goals…
