Chromium
Chromium is an essential hormone that helps your insulin work better. When you don’t have enough chromium your insulin doesn’t work right, and that creates high blood sugar, weight gain, fatigue, and left untreated, develops into type II diabetes and heart disease.
It is the insulin that not only controls your blood sugar levels, but also keeps your heart and cardiovascular system running smoothly, and helps your body process proteins, fats, and cholesterol correctly giving you more energy.
The more refined sugar you eat, the more insulin your body needs, and the more chromium you need to make the insulin do it’s job. As we already discovered, reducing the number of foods you eat containing corn syrup will decrease these problems significantly.
Where to get it – corn, sweet potato, apples, eggs, tomatoes, broccoli
