2 ½ cups chopped cooked chicken
2 cups chopped fresh spinach
½ of an 8 oz. package shredded 4 cheese pizza cheese
1 –8 oz. can or jar pizza sauce
2 –10 oz. packages refrigerated pizza dough
Milk
Grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
In a large mixing bowl, mix chicken, spinach, cheese, and ½ cup of the pizza sauce.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out one package of pizza dough to a 12 x 10 inch rectangle. Cut into 3 10 x 4 inch rectangles.
Place about ½ cup of the chicken mixture on half of each rectangle, leaving 1 inch around the edges.
Moisten edges. Fold over. Pinch or press edges with a fork to seal.
Prick tops of calzones with a fork.
Brush with milk and place on a greased baking dish.
If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan or Romano cheese.
Repeat with other package of pizza dough.
Bake at 375°F for 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve with remaining pizza sauce.
