Breakfast Smoothies



Great start on those hot summer mornings with this cool and healthy smoothie!


1 banana

½ cup low fat milk, almond milk, or vanilla yogurt

¾ cup frozen fruit (must be frozen still)

½ cup orange juice


Put it all in the blender and whip it up until smooth.

To make it even creamier, replace milk with yogurt. For the most health benefits, use low-fat yogurt with live cultures.

To make it even healthier, throw in a hand full of spinach. It won’t change the flavor, but it will add a bunch of nutrients.
