Breakfast Fruit Puffs
These are like little cheese and fruit turnovers, ready in no time!
6 ounces cream Cheese, softened
1/3 cup fruit preserves
¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 containers refrigerated crescent rolls
1 egg, slightly beaten
powdered sugar
Heat oven to 375° (F)
In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and vanilla. Set aside.
Gently unroll dough and separate triangles. In the center of each, place a tablespoon of cream cheese.
Top with a teaspoon Of your favorite fruit preserves.
Fold triangle over and press to seal.
Brush with egg.
Optional – Sprinkle with granulated sugar and omit powdered sugar.
Carefully transfer to cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
