This is a great cake for when you just want a little something for dessert that’s not too sweet.

 

1 box super-moist chocolate fudge cake mix

1 21-oz. cherry pie filling

½ bag, (1 cup) semisweet chocolate chips

2 eggs beaten

Whipped Cream

 

Preheat oven to 350 F. (325 for dark or nonstick pans)

Grease and flour 15x10x1 or 9×13 inch baking pan.

In a large bowl – using a rubber spatula, gently mix dry cake mix, beaten eggs, pie filling, and chocolate chips.

Carefully spread into pan.

Bake 25-30 minutes for 15×10 pan, or 35-40 minutes for 13×9 inch pan, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cool completely.

Serve topped with whipped cream or powdered sugar. (it’s good without any topping too)
