According to the hype, they have –
* as much calcium as milk,
* more antioxidants than blueberries,
* more nutrients than a multi-vitamin,
* and deliver a caffeine-like energy boost.
And the taste will remind you of chocolate & cherries.
Now that is a super food!
You can find Acai berry in all kinds of things now. What I wonder about is how many of the nutrient benefits actually survive all of the processing. Personally, I take all the hype with a grain of salt.
