How much difference could healthy eating make in your life? Here’s a snap-shot of a day in my life –
Today I jumped out of bed after sleeping 8 full hours! Woo Hoo!
Then I –
Fed the animals
Cleaned the litter box
Got the garbage out on time
Took the dog out
Checked email
Did 2 loads of laundry
Edited 30 articles for Rebel With a Fork
Ran to the store
Did the spring dog poop clean-up which ended up meaning 3 trips up and down ‘the hill.’ Anyone who has been here can testify about ‘the hill.’
Ate Lunch
Took the dog out again
Went to work at the spa where I spent another 6 hours on my feet.
Came home and took the dog for his walk – a mile or so.
Checked emails.
Now I’m sitting here writing this for you. And yeah, I’m tired.
I could not have done this in my 20s and 30s. A day like that would have killed me. Now, in my 50s, its pretty standard. And I’m the same size and shape today as I was when I was 17.
The difference? How I eat.
I refuse to eat any food that tastes like chemicals. To me, that’s bad food. That’s the food that’s bad for you, and it tastes bad.
I want food that’s good for me, and tastes good. Life’s too short to spend it eating bad food.
