I’m happy to report that I’m almost back to normal. I was a little creaky this morning still, but outside a little burn still left in the butt – I’m doing much better.
(Thank you boss for letting me take another day to heal)
How did I heal so fast? After all, the last time I had this, I was suffering for days.
I’m in better shape now.
My body has more nutritional support now.
I made sure to eat things that reduce inflammation. I made spaghetti sauce with hot Italian sausage for the capsaisin. I drank cranberry juice. I took a hot shower before bed. I stuffed a pillow between my knees and was able to get a good night’s sleep.
I’m not going crazy today – still laying low so it can fully heal. But I’m so thankful to not be in so much pain.
Thanks for the sympathy and well wishes!
You can never take your health too lightly. All the success in the world doesn’t mean a thing if you’re not healthy enough to enjoy it. Think about that when you go to take that next bite. Ask yourself, what will this food do for me?
And being a rebel with a fork, I love Thanksgiving. If you make your food fresh, many of the foods you’re going to eat are really healthy.
My sister pointed out yesterday that Thanksgiving is 10 days away. Oh geez!
At least I don’t having to be on any ladders for a while… Just getting the house clean 😉
