Gas vs Printer Ink

This is one of those emails being passed around – I thought it put things in a different perspective!

Be glad your car doesn’t use these…

You think a gallon of gas is expensive?

Diet Snapple – 16oz. $1.29 or $10.32 a gallon

Lipton Iced Tea – 16oz. $1.19 or $9.52 a gallon

Gatorade 20oz. $1.59 or $10.17 a gallon

Ocean Spray 16oz. $1.25 or 10.00 a gallon

Brake Fluid 12oz. $3.15 or 33.60 a gallon

Vicks Nyquil 6oz. $8.35 or $178.13 a gallon

Pepto Bismol 4oz. $3.85 or $123.20 a gallon

White Out 7 oz. $1.39 or $25.42 a gallon

Scope 1.5oz. $.99 or $84.48 a gallon

And this is a real kicker –

Evian water 9oz. $1.49 or $21.19 a gallon FOR WATER!

Ever wonder why printers are so cheap?

So they have a revenue stream from the ink.

Someone calculated the cost of printer ink – by the gallon, to be

$5,200.00!

So, the next time you’re at the pump, be glad your car doesn’t run on bottled water, Scope, White Out, Pepto Bismol, Nyquil, or god forbid…Printer Ink!

Just a little humor to help ease the pain of your next trip to the pump.

And if you don’t pass this along to at least one person, your muffler will fall off!

Okay, your muffler won’t really fall off… but you might run out of toilet paper.
