I don’t get it. For years and years, sale papers arrived in the mail on Wed. Sales started on Thursday.

I plan my shopping on Wed. using the sale papers. I teach my Whole Life Overhaul students to do the same. It didn’t necessarily mean we would shop on Thursday, but you had a plan.

Now suddenly, the sales start on Wednesday. What the heck? What could the rational be?

OK, I guess Wednesday was the slowest shopping day since people waited for the sale that would start on Thursday. But there’s a lot of times I would run in on Wed. to grab something before it went off sale.

But people get paid on Thursday or Friday. Will changing your sale dates make an overall difference? Most people aren’t going to have money on Wednesday since most people live paycheck to paycheck.

I am befuddled. I suppose its not that big a deal. It won’t change how I do things.

Have they changed sale dates by you too?

Will it change your shopping habits?

Why do you think they would have made this change?
