Green leaf lettuce, washed and torn into bite sized pieces
Tomato
Red or purple onion, or green onions
Broccoli
Shredded carrot
Grilled chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces
Shredded taco cheese
Chow mien noodles for crunch
Italian or Catalina dressing
Don’t worry about the little bit of fat. You need some fat with your meals to help your body properly use the nutrients. Did you know that? And healthy fats can actually make you feel better. My daughter likes to add avocado.
You’ve probably been led to believe a lot of things that make you think that healthy eating is boring or gross. It’s not!
Top this off with a glass of orange juice and take your vitamins.
