I had to go buy both dog and cat food before work yesterday.

I can’t believe how much that stuff has gone up. It’s close to doubled in the last couple of months.
My friend says that people are dumping their animals in record numbers because they just can’t afford to take care of them.
OK, so you can’t afford utilities, you can’t afford gas in your car to go anywhere, you can’t afford food, you can’t afford drugs, you can’t afford pets…
Maybe my sister had a really good idea when she bought that farm?
Looks like we’re going to have to go back to living on the land. I’d better go plant my lettuce…
Thank heaven I live where I don’t feel compelled to leave my property, I’m plenty entertained right here, and I don’t have to take drugs!
If I didn’t have a job, I wouldn’t need clothes much either. But, I do have a job – so I’d better put on some of those work appropriate clothes and get to work!

P.S. The reason I don’t have to take drug is because I eat right and get enough exercise. You should try it.
