Thanksgiving is just a couple of days away.
Your turkey should be safely thawing in the fridge. Is it?
If you’ve been following the planner, the house is fairly clean and you should only have the freshest foods left to buy.
If you have been falling behind, focus on
- Make your list and get your butt to the store!
- keeping the kitchen and bathrooms clean
- cleaning the main areas of the house where people will be hanging out
- Picking up the other rooms so they don’t look bad if people happen to glance in
Then, refer to your planner where you will find blow by blow plans all the way through getting dinner on the table. (you can get it below if you don’t have it).
Relax…breathe…
I was getting a little panicked myself. I was away again last weekend dog sitting. I made sure to pick up a turkey on the way home so it could be thawing.
I was kind of afraid of what I would come home to, but it wasn’t bad at all.
I have just a few things left to buy. Work is going to be really busy the next couple of days, and the puppy takes up a lot of my time, so I don’t have any grand visions of getting anything else done beforehand.
I’ll make a simple dinner here Thursday…
- Turkey
- Stuffing
- Mashed potatoes
- Gravy
- Sweet potatoes
- Steamed broccoli and carrots
- Cranberries
- Rolls
- Pumpkin Bread for dessert

My step sister is having the family dinner on Saturday. She has a new house that none of us have seen yet. So I just have to make a couple things for that. Long drive though.
Better remember to fill up the gas tank before the Tues. night price hike!
Pretty easy this year.
2 dinners. I wonder if I can put on a couple pounds? Would be nice.
What about you? Are you making dinner or traveling?
Anything else I can do to help you?

Put out a great dinner that everyone will love
Be the calm and together hostess
And most important – Enjoy Your Day!
