I was a working single mom. I wanted to provide a quality life for my daughter and me. But I was just one person. For it to work, everything had to be fast and inexpensive.
It was very important to me to have a clean comfortable home where we could relax and rejuvenate, and feel good about having people over. But I couldn’t be spending all my free time cleaning. We had to have a life too.
My daughter was a micro-preemie, so health was important. I had to find ways to make good food at home, fast. It has gotten to the point where eating out is usually a disappointment.
And it was tough until I figured out ways to do it all.
