You can be too skinny too – follow my lead
OK, I need to gain 10 pounds back. The only problem is – it’s impossible to gain weight when you eat like I do.
Oh, don’t get me wrong – I eat a lot! But it takes a whole lot of fresh foods to add up to the calories I used to take in.
I was thinking about that the other day – What did I do when I was heavier?
I drank pop.
I drank beer.
I ate packaged foods.
I ate fast foods.
I used margarine.
And now, I’ve lost my taste for all of those things. And even if I did eat enough, or drink enough of those things to gain weight (which would be total torture, ick!)– my weight would naturally revert back to it’s normal range once I stopped.
My daughter was talking about wanting to join a gym. She likes to look muscular. I did too. Maybe that’s the answer. Get back to body building. Who ever heard of joining a gym to gain weight? But muscle weighs more than fat, and tone muscles would certainly help me fill out clothes better.
Next question is – how the heck am I going to fit that in? I’ll have to let you know that answer once I figure it out.
What can you learn from my dilemma?
Follow my lead and remove these foods from your diet. Add more fruits and vegetables, and get a little activity in every day – and you too can have this problem. It really is that easy.

Interesting Weight Loss Tip
I was reading an article on Time.com with Jillian – the trainer from “The Biggest Loser”, and that lead me to a link for a photo gallery about what makes us overeat.
I ws flipping through, yeah, yeah, yeah…
But then there was an interesting tip.
We eat more when we’re cold.
I mean, I knew that – but I never really thought much about it. You know what I mean?
But, it’s a natural response. Your body needs more fuel to warm up, so you feel hungry.
Bump the temperature up a degree and you’ll eat less. Save on air conditioning costs this summer, and lose weight.
And then, you’ll be warm and maybe you’ll go swimming and lose even more weight.
This could spiral out of control!
OK, I’m tired. I think I’ll sign off while I’m ahead!
That explains why a couple of national restaurant chains that will remain nameless are always so darned cold you always need a jacket. Except that they carry it to extreme to where you are so cold you don’t want to eat.
Extremes never work. Haven’t we learned that yet?

Is it hard to lose weight?
You might have a hard time believing it when I tell you that losing weight is actually easy when you have the right information, right?
Everyone else is telling you how hard it is and how much you have to struggle and sacrifice. And the recipes they put out there for weight loss is enough to turn anyd red blooded food lover off. Where do they come up with some of this stuff? Does anybody really eat that?
I came across an article today that proves that it’s true. And you’ll also read how he lost too much weight. If you’re a regular reader, as you read this artilce, you just might hear my voice in the background…

Healthy eating baloney

I subscribe to a number of health related ezines to keep up to date on current research and such. A few of the newsletters are in the so called ‘healthy eating’ category.
Most of the time I read what they suggest you eat and I think to myself – I’d rather have the heart attack!
Here’s some of the stuff one newsletter suggested – hemp, green shakes for breakfast, alovera gel, sea vegetables, wheat grass, greens powders, and a whole bunch of other powders – I mean what the heck? This is a natural diet? For what species?
Then I read more hogwash like the label on Cool Whip Lite that says recommended by the South Beach Diet. Ever read the ingredients on that one?
Or how about the diet shakes full of sugars?
I know we all want to be trendy and try the hottest new things and be cool. But this is one case where tried and true real natural food is the way to go if you really want to be healthy and thin.
I want to save you a lot of money. Money that you’re throwing away on diets, and superfoods, and health care costs, and prescription drugs, and doctors.
You know, that’s why I got interested in the power of food. I knew I couldn’t afford prescription drugs, and I couldn’t afford to get sick. Every time I had a problem, I would look for a natural way to solve it before I would head off to the doctor. And you know what? I haven’t been to a doctor in many years. I get my readings checked at health fairs and such just to make sure that what I believe is true – and my readings always come back fine – without fasting.
And I know it all sounds a little wacko – but gosh, doesn’t eating hemp sound wacko? Does to me.
At least the way I eat won’t hurt you. It can only help. I can’t say for sure that you’ll be able to get off your insulin. I know people who have, but that doesn’t mean that everyone will. I can’t say that once you’re on blood pressure meds that eating right will get you off of them, but I know for sure, it certainly won’t hurt.
One thing I do know with absolute certainty is that if you eat the way I do, you will lose weight. Period. It’s mathematical.
And if you stop poisoning your body with all these chemicals and start giving it real nutrition, you cut your risk of all diseases.
