It has been so cold here. Down into the teens at night. Brrrr. And of course, my car died today. Yep, on Friday afternoon. Right before Christmas. Bummer. There’s nothing I can do about it until Monday, so I finished your Christmas bonus! It’s Gifts from the Heart(h) 2007.

And, I had the spammers forge headers and send out a bunch of spam using my domain name – so I’ll be blacklisted AGAIN. I wish I knew how to stop these jerks.

Some days I just feel like giving up. Throw the computer out the window and go get a real job and come home and watch television like everyone else.

I have this plaque on my desk just for those times. It says -

Don’t Quit

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low, and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.Life is strange with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When (s)he might have won had (s)he stuck it out;
Don’t give up thought the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit,
It’s when things seem worst
That you must not quit.

 How do you keep going when times are tough?
