 You might think that weight loss is difficult, or takes a lot of effort or sacrifice. None of that is true. All you need to do is follow these 5 simple rules -

1. Cut out packaged foods, fast foods and pop – including diet.

All of these contain chemicals that our bodies are not meant to process. They also contain corn syrup and other sugars, and excess sodium. Since these foods have become popular, obesity and disease have skyrocketed.

2. Eat more often

You can train your body to store fat, or to efficiently burn calories as you take them in. Many people don't eat during the day and then reward themselves by stuffing themselves silly at the end of the day because, “I haven't eaten all day.” And at the end of the day, you're not going to be doing anything to burn off those calories. But, if you eat all day, your body will burn those calories much more efficiently. After the first month, your body will be trained to be a calorie burning machine.

3. Eat more fruits and vegetables

Lets face it. Hardly anyone eats enough fruits and vegetables. Colorful and tasty fruits and vegetables contains tons of nutrients that will help keep you disease free, thin, full of energy, thinking clearly, and looking great. Start here instead of costly pills and creams. Get at least 5 servings every day even if 2 servings are juice (with no corn syrup.)

4. Get some exercise

You don't have to be a workout freak. You just need to get more movement in your day. There are some people who come home from work, eat some sort of fast food, and plop in front of the TV or computer. The house is a wreck, the laundry is piled all over, and they're overweight and sick. If they would just give up some of that TV time and vacuum, run up and down the stairs a few times, and take the dog for a little walk – they would start seeing some great results and start feeling better, right? We all know people like this. Vow not to be one of them.

5. Get enough sleep

Your body needs enough time to repair and rejuvenate. When you don't get enough sleep, your body will demand more fuel in the way of food. And because you're tired – it will probably be handy not so good for you food, right?

Instead of trying to complicate things, just follow these 5 rules all of the time. You will be thinner and healthier without counting a single calorie. How easy is that?

It's not hard, it's just different. Sure, it takes some discipline in the beginning, but once you've built healthy lifestyle habits, you won't like how you feel when you occasionally “fall off the wagon” and you'll get right back on easily.

None of us are perfect all of the time. We all have times when it's virtually impossible to eat right. It's not the end of the world – as long as you don't let it continue.
