2 cups flour

2 teaspoons sugar

1 8oz. package cream cheese – softened

2 sticks butter - softened

2 egg yolks

Powdered sugar


In a large bowl, stir flour and sugar together.

Work in cream cheese, butter, and egg yolks.

Knead until well mixed.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Sprinkle working area with powdered sugar.

Roll out dough, fairly thin.

Cut into 3 inch squares.

Place a dollop of your favorite preserves or pie filling in the center of each. I use a coffee teaspoon.

Turn up 2 corners and press gently.

Bake at 350 F for 10 – 11 minutes.

Let cool.

Dust with powdered sugar.

Hide them.
