Strawberry Banana Smoothie

This is the most basic of smoothies – and everyone loves it!

 

1 cup plain yogurt

1 peeled banana

2 cups frozen strawberries

1 tablespoon flaxseed

½ teaspoon honey

½ cup ice

 

Pulse in blender until smooth.

 

Drink up.

 

Makes 2 servings.

 

This is a super nutritious treat. Its a great breakfast on hot summer mornings!

Why add flaxseed? It gives you an important serving of Omega 3s.
