Traditional Green Bean Casserole

1/2 cup milk

¼ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

1 10-oz can cream of mushroom soup

2 teaspoons soy sauce

2 14.5-oz. cans green beans, drained or

2 9-oz. packages frozen green beans, thawed, or

4 cups cooked fresh green beans.

1 1/3 cups canned French fried onions

 

Mix all ingredients except 2/3 cup of the onions.

Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Stir.

Top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer.

 

Does not work well with fresh green beans.
