1 cup bottled lemon juice

1 cup, less 2 tablespoons sugar

Fill with cold water to make 2 quarts.

This is the lemonade my grandmother always made. You can easily adjust the tartness or the sweetness with just a little more or less lemon juice or sugar. Make your adjustments by tablespoon. Just one or 2 tablespoons make a big difference in the flavor.

They say that bottled lemon juice does not have the same health benefits as fresh lemons . Some say it's because the pasteurization takes out all the nutrients. I have seen a new lemon juice product that says it's made from fresh squeezed lemons. Haven't tried it as yet.
