Surprise! Current research shows that cholesterol has nothing to do with heart disease. Just another ploy to keep you on drugs the rest of your life. And, statin drugs actually cause other problems. But logic would tell me that its not good to have a bunch of hardening gunk in your veins. Here's some foods you can eat to lower your cholesterol.

Lower Bad Cholesterol with –

 

Almonds, apple cider vinegar, avocado, barley, beans, beer, blueberries, broccoli, carrots, chili peppers, cinnamon, cranberries, eggplant, garlic, grapefruit, green tea, lemons, limes, oat bran, oatmeal, olive oil, onions, oranges, peanuts, pecans, pistachios, red grapes, strawberries, walnuts, whole grains

Increase Good Cholesterol with –

Chocolate, fiber, oatmeal, omega 3s, onions, red wine, whole grains, exercise

Beating heart disease doesn't taste too bad, does it? ;-)

If you are taking statin drugs, be sure to take COQ10 supplements. Statin drugs deplete your bodies COQ10, which already decreases as we age.
