Spastic Schedules

OK, I haven’t made my first million online, and I still have a job.

This week, boss is on vacation. I’m covering all of the nights this week. My choice. I’m not a morning person. Never was, never will be. And I absolutely hate closing one day and having to return and open the next. to me it feels like you’re working 48 hours when there’s no personal time in between. I mean, I get home, walk the dog, have something to eat, check emails, take a shower, get up, take the dog out, have something to eat, and go back to work.

But, working all nights means I don’t get good dinners. You have to have something that can be cooked in the microwave, or a sandwich, or something like that. I don’t even get dinner breaks this week, so it has to be stuff you can eat on the run. Tomorrow night I have a trainee that can’t do anything, so I’ll be stuck on the floor and probably won’t get to eat at all.

So, I’ve made a committment to myself to eat my salad when I get home. Eat some fruit with lunch. Drink my orange juice and cranberry juice. Take my vitamins.

I just finished eating my salad while I skimmed my emails.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t take more than a couple days of poor eating before I start to feel it. I need lots of energy to deal with this life of mine.

If you’re having trouble keeping up – eat like I do.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just need to get a decent amount of the right stuff. The most important thing you can do it eat your fruits and veggies.

Spoken like a mom…

Hey, I am what I am. ;)
