Gunfire in the country means…Turkey?

I was away at the lake last week dog sitting. Since its still been pretty warm here this fall, the patio door was open.

Now, hearing gunfire in the morning around here is not all that shocking. They still hunt out here.

But gunfire at 10 at night?

After a little research, It turns out that last week was Wild Turkey season. Wild Turkeys roost in trees at night. Who knew?

Fortunately, most of us don’t have to hunt our turkey.
