Pig-Out Confession

Hi!

Ok, I have a confession. We were running around tonight,
and I was just starving. My daughter on the other hand,
could care less when, or even if we ate.

You know what’s coming, right? We pulled into McDonalds.
I ordered the quarter pounder with cheese combo, with
a chocolate shake. Then I noticed the fruit and walnut
salad. So we each got one of those.

When we got home, I found that they had given me
a double quarter pounder with cheese. I ate it any-
way. I ate everything. Then my daughter decided
she didn’t want her fruit salad, so I ate that too.
What, did I eat about 2000 calories in one sitting?
Maybe if I did that everyday, I could gain some weight?

You know that would be suicide to eat like that
everyday, right? I mean, you literally would be
killing yourself.

You know, you can do that as a once in a while eating
event, IF you’re eating right the rest of the time. I
won’t eat like that everyday, so, no – I won’t gain
weight.

So, the moral of the story? Eat right from now until
Thanksgiving so you can go hog-wild for one day –
and not feel guilty about it. Then, the day after –
return to healthy eating.

Of course, almost everything in a Thanksgiving dinner
is actually healthy – except the stuffing, gravy, and
desserts. And maybe the marshmallow topping on
the sweet potatoes. Oh, what the heck. I can’t wait
to dig in!

But I don’t know how people do it. It makes you so
sluggish when you eat like a pig. I think I’ll drink some
green tea and head off to bed! I’m really not a tea drinker,
but I’ve got to say – this green tea stuff is pretty
awesome. A good night’s sleep and I’ll be back to normal.
(which is still a nut-case, I know )

Have a great weekend!
